The life of eight generations - exhibition at the Museum of Orosháza
B2 (cca. 50 x 70 cm)
Fine, light fold marks and wear.
Poster for a permanent exhibition in the Museum of Orosháza. The Museum was founded by Balázs Juhász in the 1920s, a professor in local schools and organized a collection of museum pieces around the neighbourhood.
The teachers and students were very successful and a significant collection was put together. The collection mostly consisted of objects of ethnographic significance, as suggested by the photomontage poster. In the foreground there is the picture of an archaic vessel while the burned photography in the background shows a peasant from the back working with the scythe. The focus is on the vessel as the background image is less clear due to the surface pattern.
