Hollós Endre
1907 -
Hollós was a poster artist and painter in the 1930’s and 1940’s. He is known for his monumental posters for air defense campaigns.
He designed posters for the nationalist propaganda during the Second World War. His posters show almost photographic realism combined with painting. He also worked for the Catholic Church; for example he painted an altarpiece, and designed a poster for the Eucharistic Congress in 1938. .
