We ship worldwide with Fedex, which is reliable, safe, fast and affordable.

Here are a few frequently asked questions about our inventory and ordering. If you have any questions, please let us know!


**How can I buy a poster or other artwork listed on the website?**

You can purchase artworks from us directly through the website, by creating an account, adding the selected pieces to your cart, providing your shipping and invoicing details, and then paying by credit card. You can also use your account to save your favourite pieces.

You can find the account and cart buttons at the upper right corner of the website.

 

Another way to order from us is to send an e-mail to info@budapestposter.com with your inquiry. We will contact you shortly, and provide all necessary information about the posters you wish to buy as well as the details of the purchase and the delivery.

You can also visit us at the gallery in Budapest. In this case, please make an appointment before your visit.

 

**Are all these items original?**

We guarantee that all posters offered on our website are original vintage posters, artworks or other items.

We don't sell reproductions, but we do sell high quality scans of our posters for a publication fee. However, this does not cover the copyright fee or royalties, which the buyer has to pay for the owner of the copyright and reproduction rights.

All posters are unbacked, unless stated otherwise.

All movie posters are first releases, unless stated otherwise.

Our photos and condition reports aim to provide an accurate representation of the items offered for sale, however, they can only be really good approximations. In order to get the best understanding of the condition of the items you wish to purchase, please discuss the topic with us. We will provide all necessary information.

 

Condition grading:

Mint - perfect condition, almost no sign of use or handling. 
Near Mint - unobtrusive fold marks, very small tears, very light creasing, no paper loss. 
Fine - light fold marks, small tears, light creasing, minimal paper loss at worst (along the border, not affecting the image).
Very Good - noticeable fold marks, small to medium tears, creasing, small repairable paper loss (possibly extending into the image). 
Good - strong fold marks, could possibly be restored but more significant paper loss, creasing, stains.

 

**Are all items on the website available?**

In most instances, only one piece is available from each item.  After somtehing is sold, we take it off from the website as soon as possible.

However, once in a while an item which has been already sold may appear on the website. In order to avoid such inconveniences, we suggest to get in contact with us via e-mail to get the most up-to-date information on the availability of the pieces.

 

**How much are the items and how much do I have to pay in total?**

The price of each poster is listed on the website. If the price is not shown on the website, please contact us about it.

All prices are in US dollars.

All prices are subject to change without notice. 

Prices are determined based on a number of factors. We are trying to make sure that the correct price of all poster is listed but we cannot be held liable for typographical errors. Therefore, it is always the safest way of purchasing to first get in touch with us, and to make sure that you are in possession of all the necessary data regarding the prices. 

In most cases, the total you have to pay consists of the price of the purchased item(s) and the shipping fee.

It is important to note that a poster purchase does not include acquisition of any copyright or reproduction rights!

 

**Shipping & handling**

When you decide which poster you would like to purchase, contact us by e-mail to discuss every related details, including shipping. We ship the item(s) by FedEx International Priority Shipping.

Shipping costs US$30-40 USD for small items shipped in Fedex Paks and US$50 for posters packed in tubes and Fedex triangle tubes.

Orders over US$1000 that require regular shipping - Fedex priority in Fedex tubes or paks - are free.

Insurance is optional and commands an extra fee.

Some orders might need special packaging, insurance or other to fulfill which might result in higher shipping costs.

After receiving full payment, we ship the item(s) in 2 business day in most cases. If shipping takes most time for some unexpected reason, we will contact you and will keep you updated.

The posters are carefully packed and shipped in protective paper sheets then put in round tubes then placed in triangle-shaped tubes provided by FedEx, and then closed by adhesive tape.

**What if I buy a poster and I'm not satisfied?**

We work really carefully to make sure that our clients are satisfied with their purchase. We make every relevant detail clear before we accept money for an item and ship it. 

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item(s) within 30 days after receiving it, as long as it is returned in the same condition as it was shipped.

If you simply do not want the item: 
Please make sure that you only order something if you wish to purchase it, because we can't always accept returns in this case.

Item Did Not Arrive: 
You will be refunded the item price plus original shipping.

Item Was Damaged:
You will be refunded the item price plus original shipping, or alternatively you'll receive a partial refund and you can keep the item.

Item Not as Described:
You will be refunded the item price plus original shipping, or alternatively you'll receive a partial refund and you can keep the item.

Incorrect Item Delivered:
You will be refunded the item price plus original shipping.

Order Accepted in Error:
You will be refunded the item price plus original shipping.

Buyer Cancelled Before Shipping:
You will be refunded the item price plus original shipping.

Partial Refund:
In case something happens, and we reach an agreement for a partial refund amount. You will be refunded the amount specified.

Certain transaction costs can slightly reduce the amount of the refund.

After this all sales are considered final.
