Fischer (Fiora) Margit
1898 - 1984
Fiora was a painter, graphic and handicraft artist working in the 1920’s. She designed expressive posters after 1925, in the spirit of art deco. Her style combined elements of different Avant-garde tendencies, like cubism and expressionism. Her compositions are colorful and dynamic.
She was also active in other fields of art, like book illustration and applied arts.
In 1928, she left Hungary and moved to Paris, where she worked as an illustrator. .
