Ferenczy Károly

Ferenczy was a famous Hungarian painter at the turn of the century. He is considered one of the greatest Hungarian artists. He was a leading figure in the Nagybánya artist colony, where he soon became the most dominant teacher.

His paintings are plein-air works, they are considered as naturalist compositions, some of them are symbolic.

Ferenczy designed an important exhibition poster for his own show in 1903.                                                                                                                                                     .
