Kun Mihály
1881 - 1957
Kun was a typographer and graphic designer. He had been working as a typographer since the 1920s, and played an important role in the development of Hungarian printing and typography.
After 1945 he fouded the magazine Magyar Grafika (Hungarian Graphics) and he worked as the editor of the periodical which was the major forum for professional printers and graphic artists at that time.
As an artist, he designed book covers, small advertisements, and other types of commercial graphics, posters for events, newspapers and magazines during the first half of the 20th century. Several different styles had affected him throughout his career. .
