Koppány Simon
1943 -
Koppány is a graphic designer, typographer and book illustrator.
He finished his studies in typography in the mid-1960s. He designed several book covers, as he worked extensively for Corvina publishing house.
Between 1974 and 1988 he worked as a freelancer graphic artist. He designed numerous propaganda posters for official holidays and for other governmental commissions.
In his compositions he mixed drawing and painting, often evoking a dream-like scene. He often worked together with Mária Hodosi. .
