Fery Antal
1908 - 1994
Fery was poster designer and graphic artist, his first posters appeared on the streets in 1931.
He had a special talent for typography, which is why he worked frequently with György Konecsni at the beginning of his career. They designed charming Art Deco travel posters together.
When working on his own, Fery followed Konecsni’s clear, classical Art Deco style of the 1930’s, that involved decorative folk art elements.
After 1945, Fery was often working on the advertisements of OTP (the state owned bank).
Later he turned to the small graphic prints: he created ex libris designs, albums, and woodcuts. .
