Rácmolnár Sándor
1960 -
Graphic artist and painter.
In 1987, he graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Art in printmaking. After the mid1980s he had th opportunity to exhibit many of his works.
He is mostly interested at the ironic reuse and parody of visual clichés. He has a peculiar artistic world that combines the colors and visual elements of advertisement, comics and graffiti in a sharp Neo-Pop style.
He has been creating drawings, screen prints, illustrations and animations. In the 1980s he designed absurd, provocative, Pop Art-influenced movie posters. His compositions represented the spectacular world of the movies. His style is strongly influenced by trash culture and some of his posters resemble Tibor Helényi’s works. .
