Simonyi Emőke
Simonyi studied at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts between 1962 and 1967. She designed commercial and movie posters during the late 1960s. She was influenced by Pop Art which is visible on her early advertising works. Her frequent collaborator at this time was Jozsef Pecsenke.
In 1969 she was a member of the famous group of artists called Quintett which was founded by the former students of Konecsni. The group included Emoke Simonyi, Istvan Bakos, Kalman Molnar, Jozsef Pecsenke, Karoly Schmal.
