Sándor Károly

Károly Sándor was a poster artist and illustrator, working from the late 1930’s until the 1950’s.

In the late 1930’s he designed several commercial posters for companies, such as Hungária boots.

In the period between 1945 and 1949 he designed political posters. On his poster for the communist party he depicted a caricature of the black marketers who were one o the the greatest enemies of the system.                                                                                                                                                     .
