Description:
Szikra (Sparkle) Youth Workers Newspaper - World Youth Meeting in Budapest is an original 1949 vintage Hungarian communist event propaganda and advertising poster designed by Karoly Sandor.
The fighting newspaper of SZIT, the Szikra (Spark), reports every two days about the unforgettable events of VIT (World Youth Meeting).
SZIT was the Trade Union Youth Worker and Apprentice Movement, which was the youth workers' mass organization of Trade Union Council.
The Youth Secretariat of the Trade Union Council established a youth protection organization in February 1945, in which the communist and the social democratic parties represented themselves pro rata.
