Description:

The great poster artist of the Art Deco period, József Bottlik designed this piece for a safety campaign in the 1960s. This is one great piece of the many safety posters the artist designed in this decade. The contrast of black and yellow makes the composition is very impressive.

The composition shows a man standing under a not carefully stacked supplies hich are about to falls down on him. In the foreground there is a gibbet with the same colour as the man. It suggests that not being prudent can result in manslaughter. The typography also matches the theme. The letters are placed unevenly which resembles the not carefully packed stock. Very impressive design.
