V. Hungarian Poster Exhibition is an original vintage Hungarian event poster by Nandor Szilvasy from 1966.
Szilvasy's captivating design for this poster is simple and complciated at the same time. It utilizes a simple idea, the use of the letter 'P', the first letter of the word poster (or plakát in Hungarian). He made numerous sketches and was able to transform it into a powerful symbol, that radiates the power of the poster, oozes the bold colors, transmits the instantaneous message and the vibrant nature of poster art.
