Jenő Gadányi (1896-1960) was a Hungarian modern painter. He had several exhibitions in Hungary and abroad, when he became art teacher in Budapest. After presenting his modern paintings, he became neglected by the Socialist state. This was the time, when he became close friends with Lajos Kassák, who also inspired his work.
