Odon Palasovszky (1899–1980) was a poet, one of the most significant figures of the Hungarian avant-garde movement and activist theatre. He was an outstanding creator of Hungarian Dadaist poetry. Sandor Weores saw the poet Punalua as a precursor of American beat poetry, and placed him in the group around the main figure of the Hungarian avant-garde Kassak. The recipient of the dedication (1895–1971) was a writer and journalist. As a law student, he participated in the revolution of 1918–19, then emigrated. Upon his return home, he became a journalist. He also became involved in the theatrical avant-garde movement. Poss.: with a bookplate stamped by Gyula Pulay. Bound, in publisher's illustrated paper cover. Minor damage at the bottom of the spine.
