Description:
Poster of the exhibition of the Japanese graphic designer, Ikeda Masuo. The exhibition took place at the exhibition hall of the Institute of Cultural Affairs in Budapest, 1967.
Ikeda Masuo was a Japanese painter, printmaker, illustrator, sculptor, ceramist, novelist and film director from Nagano Prefecture. The poster is very minimalistic, which matches well with the Japanese art. The burnt photo of the artist's half face can be seen and a writing in Japanese on the top. With smaller letters the time and place of the exhibition are apparent.
