Travel with M.F.T.R. ships is a original vintage Hungarian Art Deco travel poster from the 1930s designed by Gyorgy Konecsni.
MFTR, The Royal Hungarian River and Sea Shipping Company (Hungarian: Magyar Királyi Folyam- és Tengerhajózási Részvénytársaság, or MFTR) was founded on January 24, 1895, as a state-sponsored entity to manage and expand shipping on the Danube and sea routes, significantly competing with the Austro-Hungarian Lloyd. It emerged from earlier initiatives, including the 1881-1920 Adria Sea Navigation Company (Adria Royal Hungarian Sea Nav. Co. Ltd.).
