Sinka Mátyás
Poster artist, graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts in the late 1950s. He also studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts under János Kmetty.
Besides posters he designed several album covers in the 1960s and 1970s. He created many humorous and interesting posters for official propaganda and for campaigns for prevention from accidents, promoting healthcare, traffic rules and anti-alcoholism.
Sinka was a member of the famous group of artists, called Papp-group, which was formed around Gábor Papp.
Besides his graphic works Sinka was also painting landscapes in a traditional manner. .
