The message is is easy to understand by looking at the composition: stylized images of ham, flour, bread, cheese and sausage appear on blue colour blocks on a white background. In the middle, a rat is trapped, under which the text explains that the rodents and insects spread contagious illnesses. On the top, a fly is depicted in a red circle. The colour red alludes to being forbidden and the shape of a circle behaves like a magnifying glass, enlarging the fly, emphasizing the magnitude of the problems it can cause.
