The weekend: relax and rest for a day - new energy for a week! Travel to new places each week! IBUSZ travel agency is a 1951 Hungarian vintage travel poster by Matyas Gaal.
This rare communist travel poster advertises the services of the governmental travel agency, called IBUSZ. It represents smiling passengers on a train, looking forward their trip: a happy couple and an elderly lady. In the lady's hands a (probably ideological) red book appears, in her other hand she holds a list with possible weekend-destinations. Mátyás Gaál's composition is a little bit didactic but decorative and lovely representation, which avoids the photographic realism, which was typical for the decade.
