Original Hungarian vintage propaganda poster from 1950 by György Konecsni.
The poster carries the characteristics of the socialist realist style what was obligatory between 1949 and 1956 in the socialist Hungary. These posters depicted muscular strong workers as the symbol of a system built on the working class. The red colour was domiant on most of these compositions, just like on this one. The author of this poster is György Konecsni who was one of the most determining poster artists. He was a versatile artist who managed to embed his own style even in those works where he forcibly used predetermined elements an stylistics.
