Description:

Typical propaganda poster from the Rakosi years of communism in the 1950's. The poster shows Socialist Realist style: happy family, represented in a photo-like realism. Obviously this poster was addressed to the rural people, because they appear in a composition in a very stereotypical manner.

In the 1950's there was only one list, the Népfront (People's Front) to vote for. This election poster rather served as part of the representation of power.
