The past, considered historical, is brought to life condensed into a single night: Berta Szvetics - now Mrs. Cuzzle - arrives from London to Budapest by chance, and her appearance brings together the former young anti-fascist resistance fighters, now men who hold high positions or live in material prosperity. The meeting, the night spent together, all of them wander, creates doubts or disappointment: have they not staked their lives on a mistake?
