Insurance poster advertising farmyard household insurance. The design is very simple and geometric. It was very typical to use green colour for insurance posters as green projects calmness which is a very good association in relation with insurance. The poster was made for ÁB, that is, State Insurance Company (Állami Biztosító). The company was founded in 1949 and has been operating ever since, although small changes had been made especially in ownership. During the socialism, as everything else, the company was state owned and after the change of the system it became privatized.
They offered various insurances, for example farmyard household insurance which is the subject of this poster. The majority of the poster is green. On the right hand side an arrow pointing towards the logo of the company is split and three different scences related to a croft are depicted: a house, fruits and farm animals. The text on the top says: Croft insurance! The middle one says: The croft is a great value! and the last one says: Don't leave it without insurance protection!
