The poster advertises a detergent called Tomi. The slogan promises that the washing powder will make clothes shining bright. The chimneysweep wearing a white uniform, holding happily the box of detergent in his hand is in contrast with the homogenous black background. This contrast highlights the effectiveness of the advertised product which is even capable of making the chimeysweep's clothes white just like new.
