Tram poster of the Rainbow Department Store (Szivárvány Áruház) where - according to its advertisements - a wide variety of clothing was available. Of course the truth and what was said on the poster weren't always the same. Lack of variety was rather a characteristic of Socialism than the opposite.

The designer of the poster, László Káldor whose style is easily recognizable. He was designing humorous posters where the graphics are strongly associated with the slogan. From the second half  of the 1950s he was frequently working for the Rainbow Department Store. On this piece the slogan says that it is impossible to catch up with the autumn selection of the Rainbow Department Store. The graphics show a man trying to catch up with his hat which was probably blewn off from his head by the autumn wind. The man is wearing autumn outfit and he is carrying two packages which were bought in the Rainbow Department Store. The colours applied are the typical colours of autumn and the leafless tree at the background also alludes to this season.
