Description:
Lovely tram poster for promoting the possibility to subscribe for dinners in certain restaurants. To subscribe was more affordable than visiting restaurants on random occasions, therefore it was a motivational force for the everyday people.
The composition is very atmospheric. The waiter's figure is stereotypical: he is wearing a bow-tie and a suit and he is really well-set. He is happily holding the couple having dinner on his tray. Around the couple there are stars which gives a romantic feeling to the poster. This piece is a good example of the cartoon-like style of the sixties.
