The 1960s was an active and flourishing period in Hungarian poster art. The poster became a symbol of rising living standards and the range of themes of commercial advertisements expanded. During that period advertising a product in general (fruit juices, neckties, bathing suits) was as common as brand advertisements (Africana, Röltex, Symphonia).
This poster is a good example of advertising a group of product - the packaged candy. The composition shows different flavours like sour, mint and filled candy. All the different flavours have a different package design using the typical candy colours, pink, green and yellow.
The slogan emphasize the advantages of the product: Packaged candy is hygienic and looks nice.
