This poster shows the strong influence of Op Art, which was represented in the painting of the Hungarian born Victor Vasarely. The black and white optical plays of Op Art painting could be used effectively in poster design. On Magda Vorosmarty's composition the optical play directs the attention towards the center. The representation is symbolic: the advertisement raises and directs the attention as well.
